We believe immunizing children is one of our most important roles as pediatricians. While respecting those who choose not to immunize, our practice does not accept patients who refuse to vaccinate. In the event you change your mind and accept vaccines for your child in the future, we will welcome your child as a patient.
Urgent Care/Retail-Based Clinics
We understand that innovations are changing healthcare and while urgent care or retail-based clinics may offer convenience, we strongly believe that your PCP offers the optimal standard of care for pediatric patients. These clinics may disrupt the coordination of your child’s care and do not offer the personal connection between patients and their doctors. The AAP does not recommend urgent care or retail-based clinics without providers that have expertise caring for children younger than 2 years old. Parents should consider using these clinics only at our recommendation. Please understand that if you choose to use these clinics, then contact us for answers to questions or concerns you may have about the care that was given, you will be required to make an appointment with one of our physicians. Our office is open 12 hours most days, including walk-ins and weekends. We hope you value the expertise of our pediatricians and continue to recognize us as your medical home.
Patients on behavioral medications must schedule a follow up appointment 30 days after the initial treatment and every 3 months thereafter. Due to certain restrictions of these drugs, we generally cannot replace prescriptions if “lost.” If the doctor agrees to reissue a prescription, a $5 fee will incur.
Picture Taking and Recording
To protect the privacy of our patients and staff, we ask that you refrain from picture taking and recording unless approved by management.
