Hi Parents! The staff at Gruenwald and Comandatore would like to share an important update from the American Academy of Pediatrics about kids returning to school safely.
The AAP advises that children learn best when they are in school, but we understand if you’re worried. It is reasonable for everyone to have concerns about returning when the new school year begins in fall 2020, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
But there are many practical steps that schools can take this year to keep everyone safe during reopening, such as physical distancing, classroom changes, having all adults, as well as secondary school students, wear cloth face coverings, and ensuring that everyone practice good hygiene and frequent hand washing.
But don’t just take it from us – we want our patient family to be as informed as possible, so we urge you to please read more about it here: https://www.healthychildren.org/English/Pages/default.aspx
Thanks, and stay healthy!Leave a reply
